I. Purpose:

1) The best young coordination chemist 40 years old and under will be selected from Asian countries and regions.

2) The ACCC Rising Star Award will help activate the coordination chemistry in the Asian countries and regions.

Prize: 1,000 US dollars, certificate and an award lecture (ca. 30 minutes)　　　　　　

II. Selection Rules:

1)Representatives of International Committee Members in Asian countries and regions will select the best young coordination chemist from the Asian countries and regions.

2)All Asian countries and regions have only one vote for selection of the award.

3)All coordination chemists 40 years old and under in Asian countries and regions can apply or be recommended for the ACCC Rising Star Award.

4)Applicants should have nationalities and research places in Asian countries and regions.

5)The application forms should include the CV, publication list, three best papers (PDF), and achievement sheets of 2pages of the applicants.

The "Rigaku International Prize" will be awarded to outstanding researchers in Asia, and the aim is to expand the market for Rigaku in Asia through the promotion of Rigaku.

III. Selection Criteria

1. High-level scientific research achievements using Rigaku equipment

2. High-level research achievements for special measurements and analyses of structures

3. Contribution to the dissemination of Rigaku equipment to universities and research institutes

4. Contributing to the education and development of young researchers and female researchers using Rigaku equipment

5. Other direct and indirect contributions to Rigaku

6. The best researcher of the host countries and regions of Asian Conference on Coordination Chemistry (ACCC).
